Jonathan Saunders Autumn/Winter 2011-12
Colour-Pop & Vibrant Bird Prints. The first two catwalk shows that I looked at from yesterdays LFW were firstly Henry 'bingo, crochet and budgerigars' Holland (will explain in HOH collection review) & Jonathan Saunders, where both equally surpassed themselves with two great & my favoured 'colourful' collections.
Jonathan Saunders consisted of strict silhouettes with mouth-watering rainbow colours & beautiful vibrant prints. Print, colour & texture were definitely the core of Jonathan Saunders collection, with the urquoise bird print on burnt orange silk, belted jackets with long pencil skirts, retro patterns in miss-matched colours, a burgundy dress with a black velvet panel proving to be the favourites.
Here is what Siobhán Mallen of Grazia had to say about the Scots collection:
"This was a collection that ticks all the magic boxes; it had catwalk presence in shedloads, will make for stunning editorial in autumn/winter magazine fashion shoots, yet you can easily imagine real women wearing these clothes in their real lives (including this real woman in my real life!) making it a commercial goer. Job done."
I have picked my 'Top Five' fave looks for you above & they are all.... Luscious!
