Definition:
sock |säk|noun a garment for the foot and lower part of the leg, typically knitted from wool, cotton, or nylon.• a removable inner sole placed inside a shoe or boot for added warmth or to improve the fit.
Whilst having my weekly browse through the elite street style blogs 'The Sartorialist' & 'Stockholm Street Style', I noticed a little reoccurring trend that I wanted to share with you, which is the delightfully bright burst of colour via le sock. In this cold weather it is definitely one necessary item of clothing. The trend has been around since the summer where the trousers/jeans are a little above the ankle, teamed with the brogue sans le sock but now with the transition into the cold winter months all you have to do is add warm cotton socks with a pop of bright colours &/or patterns, perfect for winter style.
The fashion conscious all over are jazzing their outfits up a bit by going this one step further & picking a colour other than black or navy for a change & I like it!!!
