I haven't done a FFFFOUND! post in some time now so I feel it is very deserved of  place in today's lazy Monday evening slot. Instead of doing a session at the gym as twas planned, i have opted for a lazy Monday evening of browsing through my fave imagery website FFFFOUND! Honestly I could do this all day everyday, it is as addictive as well.... kissing is as good an example as any ;) Literally you click into one image & see another so click into that one then it just spirals totally out of control & the next thing you know it is 3 hours later.... woopsy!
But it is a world of truly inspirational imagery that I would highly recommend visiting but only if you have the time because as I mentioned earlier you are guaranteed to spend waaaaay more time on it than planned - you have been Warned!!!

Is there anything Rachel Zoe can't do?
Rachel is an all round business woman, stylist/ reality tv star/ wife & recently a mother to her first child, Skylar.

Super Stylist Rachel Zoe has most recently added 'designer' to her long list of titles & launched her Spring/Summer 2012 RTW collection at her very first New York Fashion Week presentation yesterday.  In her broadway showroom Rachel showcased a beautiful collection of Brigitte Bardot & '70s-inspired pieces, with the likes of celeb/clients such as Molly Sims & Kim Kardashian popping along for a quick look. The collection totally emulated her own style - one-shouldered dresses, tailored blazers over evening gowns, long skirts - which is obviously a wise move as no doubt all her dedicated RZ fans will be flocking to the stores to snap up these 'easy glamour' pieces as soon as they hit the shop floor next spring.

This vintage inspired, nude ruffle shoulder detailed maxi dress is my absolute FAVOURITE piece (above) although the whole collection is amazing & very wearable!!!

Fall/ Winter Colour Trend 2011

IN THE MOMENT

BOLD or Emerald GREEN....
Last year emerald and bright greens kept popping up on runways and now, it’ appears to be trending on the streets. This jewel-tone provides a rich addition and a touch of elegant sophistication as well as gives an overall edge when used for accessorizing - be it a bag, jewellery, skirt or coat. Start adding some green to your wardrobe, but make sure it's that deep, jewel-tone green. I have sourced some great street style examples for you below that are sure to inspire.

ONCE upon a time in a land Not too far far away, well the penthouse in The Morgan Hotel to be exact, The River Island Party Wear Showcase was taking place. Inside the wonderfully minimalist showroom were rails packed full fantastical party wear pieces created with the fabulous-factor in mind that every magpie in the land would have been envious of.

Here is a pick of some of my favourite items & accessories that caught my wondering fashion eye.
Prepare to be WOWed!!!

This is a special post dedicated to all those EP'ers of you out there who are getting ready to hit one of the last festivals of the summer this weekend - the field-based event of Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co. Laois. Every festival has a different vibe to it & Electric Picnic is definitely one of the more alternative & laid back kind - much like an Irish Glastonbury I'd like to think (only waaaaaay smaller of course). It has always been known for its great atmosphere and the effort that goes into making it something more than just a couple of dozen bands in a field.

Whether the weather will be kind to us or totally & utterly unpredictable (I'm predicting the latter of the two), either way we'll embrace it to and not let the promised weekend’s showers dampen our desire to dress to impress.
To be honest I think we all know that absolutely 'Anything' goes at a festival anyway - so rather than saying that this is a  blog post offering festival style trends, I merely like to think of it as a post packed full of 'festival Inspiration' & from there the 'festival fashion world' is your oyster!!!
See ya at the picnic babeee.... Róisín. M xoxo
