Now not many guy's could pull all this off.... as well as the hair, confidence is definitely the fundamental component in this outfit.

If you haven't heard of or seen an 'Olympia Le Tan' bag as of yet, I have a feeling that after seeing Clémence Poesy donning one at the latest Harry Potter premier might have put it well & truly under the fashion worlds radar. Carrying what looks at first glimpse like a “La Belle et la Bête” (Beauty and the Beast) book is actually a clutch by Olympia Le Tan. So I thought it would be nice to give you a brief history lesson behind this very clever women & her brilliant designs.
Olympia Le Tan launched her collection of minaudières (small ornamental case for a woman's cosmetics, jewelry, or personal items that is often carried as a handbag) and bags which wear the covers of first
edition novels, stolen from the library of her esthete and artistic father, Pierre Le-Tan. These minaudières
are lined in a liberty pattern and crafted with delicacy, as the tag says, "Made in Paris with Love.” This
season she's supposedly inspired by Paris, the 1940's, surrealism, old book covers of books that were turned into great movies. The mini clutches are like surrealist little evening boxes on which she play with the words.

I remember spotting this beautiful red and white floral print dress from Erdem’s Spring 2011 collection & automatically falling in love with it's delicate antique sophistication. After seeing the image of Kate Bosworth wearing it at the screening of the film at the CGV Cinemas in Los Angeles on fashion blog MetroChica, it rekindled my love affair with the dress & doesn't Kate really do it justice!!!
A perfect, beautiful and feminine look that really stands out on the red carpet.

Last weekend I made another trip to my beloved city of Barcelona to source some more materials for my new jewellery designing/making venture (any excuse to make a trip over there to be honest) & these beautiful rose rings are the first creations from my new collection.
As you will see from the images below, these adorable, colourful statement rings are not for those who don't want to be noticed... they are sizable n' chunky and you can choose from a range of colours from black to grey to purple to turquoise, a colour to suit every mood & outfit of course!!!
So if you're the kind of lass that picks your accessories before the rest of your outfit, I think my handmade necklaces/ bracelets & rings crafted from Barcelonian sourced material would definitely be right up your alley.
As I make more pieces - bracelets & long n' short tribal/rock inspired neclaces in the making - I will post them up as they are completed. If any of the pieces catch your eye don't hesitate to email me by clicking into my RoCkInFaShIoN profile or contacting me via FaceBook.
I will also be showcasing my collection at the next 'Dublin Flea Market' - located in The Co-op on Newmarket square, Dublin 8 - just before Christmas on December 19th, so definitely pop in if you are in the area even just for a chat over some eggnog ;)
Of course I would also love to know all your thoughts (fabulous or not so fabulous ;) on these pieces so please do feel free to comment.
I need to come up with a name too - 'The Whimsical Rock' perhaps, hmmmm this is going to be hard xoxo

**From the runway to the streets**
We all of course know that H&M hearts Lanvin & I am pretty sure that most of you that had the interest to read this post in the first place have all seen at least one piece from the hottest collaboration of 2010 by now (unless you have been stranded on an island in the middle of the South Pacific for the past two months, which doesn't sound so bad actually)!!!
But due to the fact that I - very unfortunately - cannot afford to buy any of these highly coveted pieces at the moment, as well as the want to do things a little differently RoCkInFaShIoN stylee. I decided that instead of showing you the collection from the familiar catwalk or in-store displays, I alternatively fished around fashion blogs near & far to find the most hardcore fashionistas that have already posted their individual street style pics of their chosen goddess like H&M/Lanvin pieces....
Look & ogle for the clothes look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G xoxo
Christmas LookBook
The party is on with Zara's new evening lookbook. My two favourite looks are most definitely the Red Tulip-Skirt Dress & the Leopard Print Blazer..... Sawoooon!!!
Now for the nearest Zara store xoxo

// MENS STREET TREND \\
The Green Coat
Green is a color I miss a lot during cold months & I think a green coat will help you bring back the good memories of summer and spring. It has caught my eye of late on a lot of various street style blogs that I've being looking at & it seems to be 'The' colour of choice for many of these stylish men.
Be it a Blazer, Bomber, Barbour, Pea or any kind of coat or jacket for that matter as long as it is Green. The more vibrant the better....
Lets hope it catches on because I think it looks rather dapper on all these guys!!! ;)

And YSL do it again....
Literally just in the door from my trip to Barcelona & spotted this excruciatingly gorgeous Yves Saint Laurent Aventurine arty cocktail ring in The Sunday Times 'Style' magazine & just HAD to share it with you. If not only for the very good reason that you can start dropping hints now to your other halves for it to be added to your christmas wish list ASAP!!! ;)
Buenas Noches!
Róisín xoxo
