ASOS have launched their very first Ad Campaign in uniquely trendy style no less, teaming up with the excruciatingly hip & multi-talented portrait, interiors, illustrator and fashion photographer of the moment 'Todd Selby'.

He is infamous amongst the creative scene in his residing city of New York & throughout the world for creating an "insider’s view of creative individuals in their personal spaces with an artist's eye for detail." His work became so popular he was getting up to 55,000 unique hits a day, which undoubtedly led to collaborations with some of fashions biggest names such as Vogue Paris, Nike, Habitat & of course the most recent being ASOS.
He started his website back in July 2008 & it has grown & grown ever since. You can check out some his inspiring work - including the ASOS Project - at Todd's website www.theselby.com.

The oxford shoe has been making a strong comeback for both men and women for sometime now & these Givenchy Oxford heels with tasseled detailing are simply to die for. You can purchase them from Barneys New York for a steel price of only US$1,650.... Eeeeeek!!!
Can you just imagine them teamed with toothpick corduroys or skin tight jeans and a warm loose fitting sweater or chunky knit cardi - Perfection.
A little something for the stocking filler this Christmas perhaps ;)

What a fabulous pairing.
Delicate, Antique Lace mixed with Luxurious Fur makes for a Majestical Vintage Vibe don't you think!
This image has certainly inspired me to have a root through my parents attic soon.

What: Monsoon & Accessorize LOVE Christmas 2010 Collection Preview
Where: Monsoon Grafton Street Store
When: November 4th 2010

I was so pleased to see that there was no doom & gloom evident in the Monsoon & Accessorize christmas collections this season.
It is soooo nice to see an assortment of colours from soft romantic tones to dazzling jewelled hues rather than the customary blacks & greys which we are now so accustomed to during the winter months.

After helping myself to the lovely spread of fruit, pasteries & coffee I then set off to take pics of the elegantly decorated showroom so I could give you guy's a more detailed insight to the collections. As I am not the best at editing down my images there are quite a few to scroll down through below so enjoy the exhibition! ;)
All thoughts on the collection welcome xoxo

Monsoon Collection
The christmas collection at Monsoon comprised of two gorgeous collections, the first being the luxurious 'Monsoon' collection with plenty of party gowns/sassy dresses etc to choose from, evidently inspired by Hollywood glamour & ornate decoration.

On The Rails

Monsoon Fusion Collection
The second was a more contemporary version called the 'Fusion' collection which was more my kind of style consisting of antique lace details, stripes, velvet & my favourite piéce de resistence, the vintage inspired faux fur jacket.
Fyi: Alexa Chung was supposedly spotted in the velvet & lace detailed top, which you can see below.

Accessorize Collection
Accessorize showcased a treasure trove of delightful antique 50's inspired pieces & unveiled a dressing-up box of magical accessories, as well as Paris inspired cute, quirky & fun pieces.
