This is a special post dedicated to all those EP'ers of you out there who are getting ready to hit one of the last festivals of the summer this weekend - the field-based event of Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co. Laois. Every festival has a different vibe to it & Electric Picnic is definitely one of the more alternative & laid back kind - much like an Irish Glastonbury I'd like to think (only waaaaaay smaller of course). It has always been known for its great atmosphere and the effort that goes into making it something more than just a couple of dozen bands in a field.

Whether the weather will be kind to us or totally & utterly unpredictable (I'm predicting the latter of the two), either way we'll embrace it to and not let the promised weekend’s showers dampen our desire to dress to impress.
To be honest I think we all know that absolutely 'Anything' goes at a festival anyway - so rather than saying that this is a  blog post offering festival style trends, I merely like to think of it as a post packed full of 'festival Inspiration' & from there the 'festival fashion world' is your oyster!!!
See ya at the picnic babeee.... Róisín. M xoxo

// Looks Of The Week \\

On RoCkInFashIoN's facebook page, I have started to do a 'Look of the Day' - not so original I know but as everyone does have different taste it will vary from one stylista to another right! So now every Sunday I will submit all my looks that I had posted on facebook for that week & vóila you have one simple post brimming with great style ideas.

Happy Sunday mon amies!

Róisin M. xoxo

- Wednesday, July 13th

Look of the Day:  Vintage Poppy Maxi Dress teamed with a cute sailor boy hat & the Eiffel Tower in the background as an idyllic prop! J'adore.... ;-)

 - Thursday, July 14th

Look of the Day:  I love this little pale denim combo teamed with a pair of converse (on the battered side preferably), plain white T, Wayfarers & a large leopard print clutch = 100% effortlessly f*ckin cool!!!

A perfect casual summer look, ci/no!?!

- Friday, July 15th

Look of the Day: I loved this contrast of the angelic pure white layered dress matched with dark accessories, bright red lipstick & slicked back hair... along with her attitude her rough/feminine style rocks!!!

- Saturday, July 16th

Look of the Day:  Well it's the polar opposite to yesterday's look of the day but equally as amazing. Take one exceptionally tall model, 1 black lace top, tiered frilled short short skirt teamed with 40 inch legs, large block shades, monochrome symmetric wedges, one large cream leather bag & slicked back hair with a bun high up on your crown & vóila you can look exactly like this! ;)

- Sunday, July 17th

Look of the Day:  Quilted khaki shorts that I want so badly, bright yellow Tee, leopard print scarf & two stylish friends by your side = Today's look of the day!!!

Happy Sunday everyone :D xoxo

What a fabulous pairing.
Delicate, Antique Lace mixed with Luxurious Fur makes for a Majestical Vintage Vibe don't you think!
This image has certainly inspired me to have a root through my parents attic soon.

Au Revoir Simone is:  Erika Forster, Annie Hart and Heather D’Angelo - New York based synth/electro popsters.
With their girlish charm, flowing locks and vintage-chic stylings, casio-crazy trio Au Revoir Simone are like an indie-pop answer to Charlie’s Angels.
I have added a delightful track of their's on RockinnFashion's background 'mixpod' music called "Only You Can Make Me Happy", as a nice little taster of some of the musical wholesomeness that these uber stylish n funky Brooklyn ladies have to offer.
Au Revoir Simone's album makes for perfect background music for the type of lazy Saturday I'm having!

& as this is a fashion blog I also wanted to show you some images of their cute
vintage-chic style that I was telling you about!!!

// LIFE'S A BEACH \\

I don't know about you guy's but I am seriously lacking in some Vitamin D & have had enough of these grey, dreary winter months. In my cravings for the summer sunshine to pop it's shiny head back up again, I have found myself checking out our counterparts blogs Down Under ALOT more often these days!
They are my personal source of escapism & I love checking out their, oh so summery, style postings.
Here are a pick of my fave summer stylistas down under.....
