Au Revoir Simone is:  Erika Forster, Annie Hart and Heather D’Angelo - New York based synth/electro popsters.

With their girlish charm, flowing locks and vintage-chic stylings, casio-crazy trio Au Revoir Simone are like an indie-pop answer to Charlie’s Angels.

I have added a delightful track of their's on RockinnFashion's background 'mixpod' music called "Only You Can Make Me Happy", as a nice little taster of some of the musical wholesomeness that these uber stylish n funky Brooklyn ladies have to offer.

Au Revoir Simone's album makes for perfect background music for the type of lazy Saturday I'm having!

 S2A x KOL

Not surprisingly Kings of Leon are venturing into fashion & look set to continue their march to world domination with the launch of a new menswear capsule collection, with the Parisian fashion label Surface to Air. The collection, called  S2A x KOL, will hit the S2A Paris store in January & at select global retailers including Barneys New York.

Always donning effortlessly stylish attire, both on & off stage, the collection will inevitably comprise of KOL staple (rock look) pieces such as leather jackets, flannel shirts & bandanas.

Kate Moss stars in Yves Saint Laurent cinema advert

Kate Moss is back, starring in the debut cinema advert the new ‘Parisienne’ fragrance from Yves Saint Laurent. Watch as the super model gets all worked up in the back of a taxi, with a rose and providing an eyeful for the chauffeur.

The work sees Moss dressed in an Yves Saint Laurent leather basque, pencil skirt and the renowned ‘Le Smoking’ smoking jacket.

Basically she fantasises in the back of a taxi with a pink rose before the scene cuts to a sensual scene of her surrounded by pink roses with a mystery man, hmmmm This raunchy advert was accompanied by the very fitting soundtrack (which is a fantastic rock number), ‘I Feel You’ by Depeche Mode.

They are the latest band out of Brooklyn and as of right now their identity is still a mystery, they're being compared to Mgmt (another one of my faves) and have put out one groovy tune "Deadbeat Summer" which was a certified anthem during the hot summer months & upcoming summer months for those of you in the Southern Hemishere.....
