i have always seemed to be robotically attracted to all things leather, studs & denim & upon seeing this editorial from the  ss 2011 stockholm magazine was no different. i love the teenage rebellion inspiration that stylist robert rydberg incorporated & models Ilda, Isabelle S, Sophie, Anna L and Nomi make for the perfect team to portray the young, rough n tough gang!!!

Pretty As A Picture

I love the fusion of the lace trimmings, pretty light pastel colours and floating chiffon.... the epitome of Victorian elegance upon which the shoot was based.

This editorial spread was shot by photographer Sylvie Malfray and the looks were styled by Andrei Iovu, a combination that produces both a romantic shoot with a hint of naughty.
I'm sure you will agree that Cornelia Tat looks absolutely stunning.

This spread in the Harper’s Bazaar Romania May 2010 issue is definitely one to check out.

When going through Sasha Pivovarova's portfolio on Models.com, I fell in love with the striking colours in these two recent editorials in which Sasha has starred in.

** Italian Vogue March 2010**

This first editorial - for Italian Vogue March 2010 - I definitely think could have easily been inspired by the 1980's American comedy horror fantasy film Beetlejuice, that was directed by Tim Burton no less!!!

Is Sasha supposed to be reminiscent of what Beetlejuices wife would have looked like perhaps???

** Interview Magazine February 2010 **

I just love love love the styling in this editorial for Interviews February 2010 issue. It's like they let a group of 30 kids run riot on this shoot with a huge box of Paper & Crayola. The outcome being a magical mix of colour, jagged edges with a bit of sparkle.

Who ever knew that graffiti & huge fake jewels could look so good!!!

// SMOKING IS BAD FOR YOU \\

Do too many photos rely on cigarettes to 'cool' it up? Perhaps!!!

 Either way it's just a prop & without trying to glamourise it you have to admit it definitely adds a certain 'Cool Factor' to a shoot. 

I think smoking & fashion are like two peas in a 'edgy photo-shoot' pod.
So without further adieu here are a few of my fave examples from both editorials & on the streets.
PS. Smoking is still bad for you.... ;)
