I have always had a mini fascination with the flawless style and epically, astonishingly beautiful Ms. Chung, "a slightly awkward, almost kittenish sort of gorgeousness, all long limbs, wide eyed and messily bobbed hair'' is how they put it in the November Elle article.
After reading the magazine from front to back and back to front again, this shoot of Alexa is by far my favourite.
Here are some interesting facts that we find out about Alexa from the Elle interview:
- She lives between London & New York with her RoCk StaR boyfriend Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkeys.
- Her neighbours are her best friends & fellow models Agyness Deyn and Daisy Lowe
- Her style icon is Alison Mosshart from The Kills
- She's a vegetarian & she doesn't do fur
- She does not use the help of a stylist
- Her favourite designer is Isabel Marant
In my eyes she can never put a stylish foot wrong & I especially love how she never over glamourises her outfits. As they very aptly put in the ELLE article; "her style is a pleasingly unpredictable blend of the classic, the boyish, the hip, and the off-kilter. Her signature look usually involving 2 or more of the following: loafers, socks, stripes, peter-pan collars, leather, satchels, a bit of print and maybe some denim. "
Do some people just plain & simply have it all: the looks, the charisma, the career, the rock star boyfriend, the style, the glamourous lifestyle...... I think so & Alexa is 100% proof xoxo
