BOLD or Emerald GREEN.... 

Last year emerald and bright greens kept popping up on runways and now, it’ appears to be trending on the streets. This jewel-tone provides a rich addition and a touch of elegant sophistication as well as gives an overall edge when used for accessorizing - be it a bag, jewellery, skirt or coat. Start adding some green to your wardrobe, but make sure it's that deep, jewel-tone green. Even though the fashion world is already wishing our summer away & already looking ahead to the Autumn/Winter collections, I am adamant in staying firmly in the here & now amongst the warmth of this summers biggest trend - PoP Colours. There are lots of delicious 'arm candy' treats for us out there at the moment with plenty of fun, bright pop & candy coloured bags/ satchels & clutches to choose from. They range from all sides of the Pantone spectrum & everywhere in between. From playful bubblegum pink & burnt sunset orange to the striking cobalt blue & mint coloured green. Whatever the colour bright and bold styles will 100% help infuse a little whimsy into your wardrobe this summer & as I mentioned in my 'I Hate Trends' post don’t be afraid to pair them with other spring colors, prints and patterns to create countless fun and flirty fashion possibilities this season.

Embrace the quirky trend & get you noticed for all the right reasons!!! ;)

Even though we are now well and truly into the Spring and obviously the summer is just about within reach, everyone is finally starting to pack away their dark & dreary winter clothes for another year & opting for the refreshingly bright floral, neon & block colouring trends of Spring/ Summer 2011.

BUT......

I have to say I will still always be a firm believer & lover of All things black come Autumn/Winter/Spring or Summer. It is a colour that you can never go wrong with and is effortless, elegant & just plain and simply classic. Think the style of designers Acne/ Helmut Land & Alexander Wang that never opt too far from the monochromic colour palette.

Also the colour BLACK has so may added benefits to consider as well, such as:

- It is the colour that symbolises authority & power

-  It instantly makes you appear thinner

-  It is & always will be considered stylish & timeless
