Phosphorescence, is a brand new line of sunnies from creative director Hisham Bharoocha, known for his band Soft Circle, numerous fine art endeavors, and general downtown New York ubiquity.

A fresh new collection of frames include a collaboration of designs with an array of New York City hipsters such as Erin Wasson, Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon, United Bamboo, Zero + Maria Cornejo, No Age, Opening Ceremony, and Rockers NYC. These sunnies will be what all the New York cool kids will be wearing this summer.

Via an article in Refinery 29 said of artist Hisham Akira Bharoocha; 'You might recognize Bharoocha from spreads in i-D, exhibitions at Deitch Projects, or gigs with bands like Lighting Bolto, Black Dice, or Soft Circle (yep, he was a founding member in all of 'em), so you're not exactly in shock-and-awe that his creative juices have taken a sartorial inclination.'

Now I have to be honest, before coming across this article on the exciting new line, Hisham had never really came under my radar before but now after seeing this stellar new collection, he is well & truly there to stay. I love this collab range from light blue and pink shdes to bolder black frames to a pewter gray number.

Hisham described Phosphorescence as an arena for creative people to collaborate, and this is an impressive start. I am very interested to see what he comes up with next.

**From the runway to the streets**

We all of course know that H&M hearts Lanvin & I am pretty sure that most of you that had the interest to read this post in the first place have all seen at least one piece from the hottest collaboration of 2010 by now (unless you have been stranded on an island in the middle of the South Pacific for the past two months, which doesn't sound so bad actually)!!!

But due to the fact that I - very unfortunately - cannot afford to buy any of these highly coveted pieces at the moment, as well as the want to do things a little differently RoCkInFaShIoN stylee. I decided that instead of showing you the collection from the familiar catwalk or in-store displays, I alternatively fished around fashion blogs near & far to find the most hardcore fashionistas that have already posted their individual street style pics of their chosen goddess like H&M/Lanvin pieces....

Look & ogle for the clothes look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G xoxo

Hit the surf and clubs in style this summer with one of my favourite collaborations of the season offering both functional and glam pieces - all of which I love.
The collection - released in spring - consists of brilliant flashes of fluoro pop against pastel coloured wetsuits, swimsuits and surf-inspired clothing such as neoprene body-con pieces like the gorgeous neoprene pencil skirt, accessories, ballet flats, oversized double-knit hoodie and leather sandals with giant silk tassels.

Perfect for embracing your inner surf chick!
Now to the beach....

// Christopher Kane for Topshop Round 3\\

Since graduating from the elite London fashion college of Central Saint Martins in 2006, Glasgow-born Kane held his first catwalk show at London Fashion Week (LFW) in the same year, & has since been unstoppable......

With his 7th collection to be shown at this months notable LFW - celebrating it's 25th year of British Fashion - Christopher Kane certainly picked a momentous occasion to show his 3rd & latest collection for Topshop with it hitting stores in just little over a week (Friday September 18th to be exact) in order to coincide with the start of London Fashion Week.

With Jourdan Dunn heading the CK/Topshop campaign, the fabulously fashionable line in question is his biggest collection for Topshop to date with 39 pieces consisting of heavily studded and riveted pieces in both structured and body-conscious styles, with a small accessories collection of the most covetable shoes since, well, ever. Oh, and there’s also a version of those fabulous gorilla print tees to get your hands on. Set your casio alarms now, fashionistas!
