ONCE upon a time in a land Not too far far away, well the penthouse in The Morgan Hotel to be exact, The River Island Party Wear Showcase was taking place. Inside the wonderfully minimalist showroom were rails packed full fantastical party wear pieces created with the fabulous-factor in mind that every magpie in the land would have been envious of.

Here is a pick of some of my favourite items & accessories that caught my wondering fashion eye.
Prepare to be WOWed!!!

Ok well first & foremost I apologise in advance for this Xxxtra long post but at the S/S 11 Coast preview today there were just so many amazing pieces that Coast have in store for us this coming season that I simply found it too hard to dwindle down my images to a sizeable amount! :)
Now I have to admit I wouldn't have been a regular shopper in Coast before (probably due to the fact that I didn't have many formal evening soirées or weddings to don such elegantly feminine dresses to... Que the violins, hehe), but after attending the press preview today and as I do happen to have a wedding coming up, I saw a lot of dresses that are now serious contenders.

Coasts' vision for their spring summer collection was of playful femininity with a sleek, grown-up edge & the palette, a juxtaposition of beautiful soft ivory, taupe & luscious greens, punctuated with pops of lemon, emerald blue & raspberry.

The cuts, pleats & billowing, draped silk dresses flowed and fell effortlessly. They had styles to suit every body shape and taking inspiration from Mad Men, 70's  glamour to the ocean life there were also pieces to appeal to every taste.
Some of the pieces are in-stores now but they will mainly be filtering through to the stores between now & April. Coast are also celebrating 15 years of in-house design and this season marks the launch of the Coast shoe collection consisting of 15 footwear styles.... they are definitely worth popping in for a peep!!!

Coast are also introducing their first ever 'Bridal Collection' which will only be available exclusively in their Dundrum store. The dresses feature many of the seasons fashion trends such as romantic lace, pleats & tulle all translated into timeless styles.
They were all simply stunning....

Spotted: College Green, Dublin 2
Who:  Eva from Cologne, Germany - living in Ireland studying English

Style: Eva demonstrates winter fashion at its finest. If she was freezing her lil tush off she sure wasn't showing it in this perfect classic navy pea coat & skinny jeans combo teamed with cool vintage camel coloured 'Reporter Bag' & boots which both she had picked up in a shop in Germany.
The clash of light coloured accessories over dark navy gives this winter look a refreshingly lighter feel.

a photo that makes you happy

Australia is by far one of the most amazing places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.
I absolutely fell head over heels in love with the country, its extreme environments & of course who can falter their beach lifestyle!! I traveled the length & breadth of the country with my sister & friend in our trusty lil campervan, meeting so many great personalities along the way as well as seeing some of the most amazing beaches, national parks, sunrises, sunsets & national treasures that I will never forget.
The ocean, sunsets & beaches are some of my biggest fascinations in life & I took endless photos of all three throughout my travels. Whenever I look back in nostalgia at my traveling photographs they always remind me of the amazing time I spent there, therefore it proved very difficult to choose just one.... & so there were three.
The first one was taken at Sunshine beach in Noosa (eastern Australia), the second @ Lucky Bay in Cape Le Grande National Park (southern Australia) & the third photo was taken in Monkey Mia (western australia)
