As there are so so many catwalk shows (1o3 at LFW to be exact & that's not including presentations) in one fashion capital alone & most designers showcasing from between 30 - 60 looks in their collection each, it can be very time consuming to get through them all.
So, as nice as I am ;), I decided to go through (what I deem) my most popular designers that show in London Fashion Week, pick out their key looks & photoshop them down into 8 great looks that you can view easily & at your own leisure in ONE glance.....
Hope you enjoy them xoxo

Much to my delight London Fashion Week has proven to be a blend of radiant colours  for Autumn/Winter 2011-12 from the soft pastels of Acne to the vibrant, fun pop-colours of Louise Gray & House of Holland, a nice change for what is normally a season dedicated to the darker colours of the colour spectrum.
The patterns/ textures/ designs & hosiery are deeming to be just as  eye-catching as the colours. So I have compiled a nice little pick of my best-loved designer collections so far, starting with kooky designer Henry Holland whose collection was supposedly inspired by grannies, bingo, crochet and budgerigars - with the HOH invites even arriving disguised as a Bingo Card, Genius! As always Henry triumphed, creating beautiful designs while keeping fashion fun, light and playful.....

Enjoy the show!!

London-based Irish designer Paul Costelloe ensured that it was a bright start to London Fashion Week yesterday morning when his collection hit the runway @ 9am in the BFC Catwalk Showspace in the picturesque setting of Somerset House.
Last year Paul sent his six sons onto the catwalk (yes the whole six of them) & this season he kept it within the family again when he opened his show with his 24 year-old daughter, Jessica - in a lush rose-red Harris tweed coat, which perfectly matched her hair - who has just graduated with a degree in opera from the Juilliard School of Music.

The collection was refreshingly colourful for the Autumn/Winter season.
It was lovely to hear that Paul used a tweed sourced in our very own Tipperary (as well as Harris tweed) and Irish wools in Autumnal shades to reflect his Irish roots, opting for textured threads in emerald green, fuschia & mustard.

As quoted from an article in The Telegraph by Hilary Alexander, she said of his collection;
"There were mini-skirts, dresses and coats, all adhered to the flattering fit and flare line, with hems well above the knee. Mixed in with the rustic, crunchy tweeds, herringbones and plaids, were soft rose-print silks and an abstract, painterly print, particularly effective in drop-waist dresses with a bow-finished, pleated effect at the hip."
An altogether fabulous collection with a nice little nod to his Irish roots.

Sláinte Mr. Costelloe!!! xoxo

a photo of yourself a year ago

A year ago I was in London for the 25th anniversary of London Fashion Week.
Staying with my friend in Shoreditch we literally attended shows all day & partied all night.
Was definitely one of my highlights from last year xoxo

I don't know about you guy's but I always loooove having a good nosy at who has been donning the front row at the catwalk shows during fashion week. So purely for my own indulgence & hopefully yours too of course (if your anything like me), I have collated a number of pics of who has been privelaged enough to sit front row @ New York & London Fashion Week to date.
Enjoy!!!
