Revealed today - 9th March 2010 - to a select group of editors in an ornate Parisian salon.
16 exquisite outfits were on display, 80% of them had been finished at the time of McQueen's death and were then fully completed by his design team.
"The collection continues signature themes the designer had explored previously from royalty [scarlet robes] to religion [including a dress featuring angel wings on the back - reflected in the giant mirrors of the salon], the clothes display all the hallmarks of McQueen's couture-quality flights of fantasy - a gold coat is entirely constructed of gilded feathers."
